So, I very recently created this account, but with the downfall of multiple social media platforms, this seems much more resilient to the kind of corporate takeovers like with Twitter and Reddit. User discovery isn’t as cumbersome as other fediverse platforms I’ve tried, and I agree with the company’s general philosophy. Minus the glacial invite system, of course.
Elon, if you’re gonna deadname and misgender actual trans people, I’m going to deadname your website. It’s Twitter, not X. Anyways, this is mainly for me to post dumb stuff and promote my music.
Not gonna lie, I kinda don’t like this platform very much. It’s bloated, and you basically have to make it your full time career to get any recognition by the algorithm. Feel free to gimme a follow for when I post there once a year, haha! (I’m also on Facebook and Threads, but I use them even less.)
