Albums
Albums are the form of media that I feel I understand the best. I’ve been actively involved in online music discourse and creating my own music for the past decade, and I think I have plenty of insightful opinions and perspective to add.
Songs
I don’t often write about individual songs unless it’s a brand new single or I have very passionate thoughts about it one way or another, so odds are there’s gonna a lot of hot takes coming up.
Films
While I don’t write as many film reviews as I do with music, I’ll be doing a few more of them going forward. I’ve had to do all of my own graphic design and editing as an independent artist, so I notice a lot of odd editing quirks and choices in cinematography. Trying to figure out why people make the films we love sparks so much joy in my life, so stay tuned!
Series
Here, I’ll be keeping track of my opinions on anything to do with series. This includes entire shows, individual seasons, and individual episodes. It’s also going to be the most casual style of review I write, since there’s so much material to unpack relative to the other three categories.
